There's something I love about these last few hours before the new year begins. 2024 is coming to a close and we're just about ready to welcome the new year. Another year with 365 brand new days. Because there's nothing I love more than the chance to start anew. To look at the things that didn't go quite as planned or quite as I was hoping and figure out a way to make them better. We try to leave our house as close to 7am every morning. The kids need to be to school by 7:50 but like to get there as close to 7:30 as possible to spend time with friends before classes start. When we leave the house right at 7, we get to school by 7:25. So you would think that if we leave the house by 7:10 (just 10 minutes later), we'd still get to school 10 minutes later as well (which would be 7:35). But...that's not how it works.
